Criticism for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s demonetisation move has come from the most unlikely quarters, from his close confidante Baba Ramdev.
Speaking to The Quint, Baba Ramdev asserted that the Prime Minister was misled by corrupt bankers, and that demonetisation will expose a Rs 3-5 lakh crore scam in the economy.
Ramdev, who was attending a Dainik Bhaskar event in Jaipur, also told The Quint that implementation of demonetisation was poor.
