Ranbir Kapoor And Alia Bhatt Pledge To Donate Their Kidneys

Mumbai: Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Ayan Mukerji are among celebrities who have pledged to donate their kidneys ahead of World Kidney Day on March 11. According to a report in Bollywood Hungama, the ‘Brahmastra’ stars and director attended an event organised by the Amar Gandhi Foundation where they made this pledge, News18 reported.

Speaking at the event, Ranbir said, “I pledge & donate my organs, I hope that by me doing this it will make a difference to one person or two people’s lives, and it keeps going forward and it will make a difference, so please do consider pledging your organs.”

Giving a speech at the event, Alia was quoted as saying, “It is important to make people aware of the process behind it. I think it’s important to come and talk about the health issues and Amar Gandhi Foundation and Organ donation awareness drive. Make people aware of the prospects of their organ donation, alive or post-death.” 

Filmmakers Karan Johar and Ayan Mukerji, who also joined the event virtually, shared videos pledging to donate their organs.
