Ranji Trophy: Uttar Pradesh Thrash Odisha By 10 Wickets

Bhubaneswar: The visiting Uttar Pradesh team thrashed Odisha by 10 wickets on the fourth and the last day of the Ranji Trophy Elite Group match at the KIIT Stadium here on Thursday.

The visiting team completed the rout after scoring 44 runs without losing a wicket and restricting the hosts to 221 in their second innings.

Resuming at the overnight score of 180 for 7, Odisha was bundled out for 221 after losing three wickets of Rajesh Mohanty (10), Shantanu Mishra (37) and Basant Mohanty (12) in quick succession.

For the visiting team, quickies Shivam Mavi and Ankit Rajpoot bagged five and four wickets respectively.

Needing 40 runs, the opening pair of Madhav Kaushik (22) and Mohammad Saif (16) reached the target in 12.5 overs.
