Mumbai: Bollywood superstar Ranveer Singh has ended the reign of Team India’s cricket icon Virat Kohli as India’s most valued celebrity.
Ranveer’s brand value is estimated to be a staggering $181.7 million as per the latest Celebrity Brand Valuation report by Kroll.
Kohli is not far behind, with a valuation of $176.9 million. The former India captain had held the top spot for last 5 years.
The top two are followed by Akshay Kumar, Alia Bhatt and Deepika Padukone.
Going strong even at the age of 80 is Amitabh Bachchan, who is in 7th position, while Shah Rukh Khan occupies 10th place.
Bollywood personalities dominate the list, with 7 of them finding a place in top 10 and 16 among top 25.
Kohli, along with fellow-cricketers MS Dhoni (6th) and Sachin Tendulkar (8th) complete the top 10.
‘Pushpa’ stars Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna are the first actors from south India to feature among India’s top 25 celebrities.
