Ranveer Singh’s Nude Shoot: Accused Of ‘Hurting Women’s Sentiments’ But Alia Bhatt Defends Him

Ranveer Singh has become the talk of the town ever since pictures from his nude photoshoot with PAPER magazine went viral.  Although his fans found the pictures drool-worthy, they have landed Deepika Padukone’s husband in trouble.

A complaint has been filed with Mumbai police against the actor for ‘hurting women’s sentiments’.

Among the celebs, TMC MP and Bengali actress Mimi Chakraborty was the first to react asking if women would have been appreciated if they had shared similar pictures.

Meanwhile, his co-star Alia Bhatt, who was asked to share her thoughts on Ranveer’s nude photoshoot during the media interaction of her upcoming movie Darlings, said:

“I don’t like anything negative said about my favourite Ranveer Singh. Toh main yeh question ko bardasht bhi nahi kar sakti hu (so the question itself is something I can’t tolerate.” The actress added, “I love him, he’s eternally favourite to every one of us actually and he has given us so much in the movies. We should only give him love.”

Ranveer Singh will soon be seen opposite Alia Bhatt in ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani.’

He has also wrapped up Rohit Shetty’s ‘Cirkus,’ based on Shakespeare’s play The Comedy of Errors. The film also stars Pooja Hegde. Simmba 2 is also in the pipeline.
