Nayagarh: An undertrial prisoner arrested for allegedly raping a girl escaped from Nayagarh sub-jail for the second time on Saturday morning.
Police said Tapan Rout had also ran away from the jail on May 10, but was caught later.
Police have launched a manhunt for Rout, who hails from Fatehgarh in Nayagarh district.
Sources said the jail authorities have launched an internal inquiry on the matter.
