According to sources, three men tried to rape a 35-year-old woman, who was observing fast on Mahashivatri and offering prayers at a temple in Keredagada village of Kendrapara district on Friday.
The woman was alone in the temple at the time of the incident. The trio, however, fled the spot when she raised an alarm and cried for help.
Police have managed to arrest two of the accused, the sources added.
