It may be noted that the body of the 10-year-old girl was recovered yesterday from a forest area under the jurisdiction of Chandabali police station on Tuesday evening. The minor, a student of Class III, had reportedly left home after informing her family that she was going to school. When she failed to return, her family members searched for her, following which her body was found in the forest.
In view of the tense situation, police personnel in strength have been deployed in Chandbali to prevent any further escalation.
