Balasore: A rare yellow turtle was rescued near Sujanpur village in the Soro block of Balasore district on Sunday.
The turtle was spotted by a farmer, Basudev Mahapatra, in his farmland when he was working in his fields and brought it home. Huge crowd gathered in front of Basudev’s house to witness the rare turtle.
On being informed, the Forest Department officials reached the spot and took possession of the rare turtle.
