Jharsuguda: A rare white crow was spotted in Jharsugada district recently.
The rare crow was spotted at the gate of a resident’s house in Mungapada of the town. On being informed, the Forest officials arrived at the spot and rescued the bird, according to a India TV report.
Though the crows are black in color, some of them are white because of genetic aberration, according to zoological experts. The white bird is also known as an albino. The white pigmentation happens due to genetic reasons or hormone deficiency.
Recently, white crows were seen in Karnataka and Delhi too.
