Rashmi Ranjan Parida Appointed Head Coach of Odisha Cricket Team

Cuttack: The Odisha Cricket Association (OCA) on Friday appointed former Ranji player Rashmi Ranjan Parida as the head coach of Odisha Men’s Cricket Team.

The OCA also appointed Deepak Mangaraj as the bowling coach and Gautham Gopal as the fielding coach.

Parida has represented Odisha in Ranji matches against Rajasthan, Vidarbha, Himachal Pradesh and Assam. A right-handed batsman, he made the debut for Odisha in 1994 and played till 2008.

He featured in 139 first-class matches for Odisha and played a key role in helping Rajasthan rise from plate group to win back-to-back Ranji Trophy titles in 2010-11 and 2011-12. He last featured for Himachal Pradesh in the 2014-15 season.
