Mumbai: A day after officially confirming their wedding on social media, actors Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda were spotted at the airport on Monday, jetting off separately to Udaipur where they will tie the knot.
Bride-to-be Rashmika couldn’t stop smiling and blushing as she checked in with her friends and team. Groom-to-be Vijay, on the other hand, was seen in a toughie avatar, sporting black sunglasses and moustache.
As per reports, the festivities and rituals will kick off on Tuesday, with the wedding ceremony scheduled to take place on February 26.
The wedding will be an intimate affair, with only a limited number of guests in attendance.
Following the wedding in Udaipur, a grand reception is reportedly scheduled to be held in Hyderabad, on March 4.
Both Rashmika and Vijay, who had remained tight-lipped about their wedding all this while, finally confirmed the news on Sunday, announcing that they have named it ‘The Wedding of Virosh’.
Sharing heartfelt notes on their respective Instagram Stories, the couple wrote, “Our dearest loves. Before we made any plans, before we chose anything for ourselves—you were already there. With so much love, you gave us a name. You called us ‘Virosh’. So today — with full hearts, we name our coming together in your honour.”
They added, “We would like to name it — ‘The Wedding of VIROSH’ ❤️. Thank you for holding us with so much love. You are a part of us — always ❤️! Biggest hugs and full love 🤗❤️!”
The couple reportedly got engaged in an intimate ceremony in Hyderabad last October.
The actors never acknowledged their relationship publicly, but rumours suggested they started dating after sharing screen in ‘Geetha Govindam’ and ‘Dear Comrade’.
