Muzaffarnagar: Rs 1000 for issuing a threat, and Rs 55,000 for murder, this crime rate chart with a photograph of a youth holding a gun and a mobile number, is doing the rounds on social media.
This price list has been shared by a gang of criminals in Uttar Pradesh’s Muzaffarnagar, the IANS reported.
The service also includes resolving land disputes.
Meanwhile, police have dentified the youth as a resident of Chowkada village under Charathaval police limits.
“The matter is under investigation and appropriate action will be taken soon,” circle officer of Sadar police station Kuldeep Kumar was quoted as saying by the news agency.
