New Delhi: An official of India’s spy agency, Research And Analysis Wing (RAW), allegedly jumped off the agency’s building in Delhi’s Lodhi Colony area on Monday.
The deceased has been identified as Aniket Kumar, a native of Odisha’s Cuttack.
According to reports, Kumar jumped to death from the 10th floor of the building. He died on the spot.
On getting the information, the police team arrived at the spot and recovered the body. The RAW officer was reportedly suffering from depression, police said.
However, the cops have initiated a probe into the alleged suicide and are trying to ascertain the exact reasons. While Kumar’s family has been informed about the incident, the postmortem is likely to be conducted on Tuesday.
