Rayagada: Expressing grave concern over the rise in road accidents and fatalities in Rayagada district, collector Guha Punam Tapas Kumar convened a meeting with RTO officials, railway and police here on Saturday.
During the meeting, the collector directed the officials concerned to initiate strict action against rash and negligent driving and illegal parking.
She also asked them to identity the black spots and accident-prone areas on the state and national highways to curb road mishaps.
