New Delhi: Reserve Bank of India (RBI) Governor Shaktikanta Das received the Award for being ranked ‘A+’ in the Global Finance Central Banker Report Cards 2023 at Marakkesh city of Morocco on Saturday.
“We are happy to announce that Governor Shri Shaktikanta Das has been rated “A+” in the Global Finance Central Banker Report Cards 2023. Shri Das has been placed at the top of the list of three central bank governors who have been rated A+,” the RBI had earlier posted on X.
The award recognises those central bank governors whose strategies outperformed their peers through originality, creativity, and tenacity.
A retired IAS officer of the Tamil Nadu cadre, Das hails from Odisha. He studied in the Demonstration Multipurpose (DM) School here in Bhubaneswar.
