Khurda: Revenue Divisional Commissioner (Central Division), Anil Kumar Samal was rushed to a hospital after he collapsed during an Independence Day celebration in Khurda on Thursday.
According to reports, the RDC was the chief guest at the district level Independence Day celebration. He lost consciousness while distributing awards to students after unfurling the national flag.
Samal was admitted to the district headquarters hospital and his condition was stated to be stable.
