Balasore: Police recovered the body of a realtor from private land near the bypass road in the Remuna area, Balasore district, on Sunday morning.
The deceased has been identified as Ramesh Behera alias Nunu (32).
Police have confirmed it to be a case of murder.
According to police, the deceased, a native of Ganeswarpur village under Industrial Police limits, had opened a real estate agency, Satyam Developers. He was providing homestead land to the people from that owned by him near the bypass road.
On Saturday morning, he had gone to his land for plotting. However, a photo of him lying in a pool of blood went viral on social media late in the evening. Following this, police rushed to the spot with a scientific team.
Police suspect previous enmity to be the reason for the murder.
