‘Rebirth’ Of Ranveer Allahbadia: Check Youtuber’s 1st Post & Video Since ‘India’s Got Latent’ Controversy

Mumbai: A month and a half after the India’s Got Latent controversy broke, YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia returned to social media with promise to be back with fresh content and in a new avatar.

Ranveer, whose obscene comments on parents and sex during an episode of comedian Samay Raina’s YouTube show landed him in a soup, shared a series of pictures on Instagram in his first post in several weeks.

“Thank you to my loved ones. Thank you, universe. A new blessed chapter begins – Rebirth…” he wrote along with pictures with his team, family and pet dog.

Ranveer also shared a video on his YouTube channel, saying that his podcast, The Ranveer Show, will return soon, and the audience will get to see a ‘new Ranveer’.

“Thank you so much to all my well-wishers. The past few months have been very difficult for my family and me. Your positive messages helped me to overcome this phase. I faced so many things: online hatred, threats, so many media articles, but it is your positivity that helped me,” he said.

“All the guests, cricketers, actors, and bureaucrats, thank you so much for all the positive messages. In the lowest moments of your life, you get to know that success is not the only thing in this journey; you will have to face failure. Today, I am here to express my heartfelt thoughts only.”

“In this break, I learnt to live with stability. I understood that, in our country, people consider me as their family member; people see me as their son and brother, and mainly, I apologise to all of them,” Ranveer added.

“I will be more responsible for the content that I will be creating in the coming years. This is my promise to you all. I have understood my responsibilities towards my audience, team, and family,” he assured followers.

He accepted having made a mistake, and asked his audience to give him another chance. “If possible, please give me space in your hearts, once again. Please give me another chance. I love my work. I love content creation and podcasting. I love to explore our country’s history and culture,” he requested.

“While my mental health deteriorated due to this phase, I turned to meditation and sadhana. I don’t see this phase as a punishment but a transformation, a learning. God has given me so much so far, so I will consider this as a gift from God. It came into my life for the sake of my growth,” Ranveer said in the video.
