Bhubaneswar: The number of persons recovered from COVID-19 in the state moved close to 19,000 on Wednesday with a record 878 patients having recuperated and were on different stages of discharge.
Of the recovered cases, Ganjam reported highest 396, followed by 114 from Khurdha, 49 from Gajapati, 44 from Jagatsinghpur, 35 from Koraput, 33 from Balasore, 29 from Kandhamal, 26 from Angul, 23 from Keonjhar, 16 from Nayagarh, 14 each from Cuttack and Sundargarh, 13 from Bhadrak, 11 from Malkangiri and 10 from Jajpur district.
The number of recovered patients in other districts is as follows:
8 in Kendrapara
7 each in Baragarh, Boudh and Dhenkanal
5 in Jharsuguda
4 each in Bolangir and Puri
3 each in Nuapada and Rayagada
2 in Mayurbhanj
1 in Sambalpur.
With today’s figure, the total recovered cases of Odisha have gone up to 18,938, according to a Health and Family Welfare department release.
