Bhubaneswar: COVID-19 recoveries in the state witnessed a major jump as 406 patients recovered from the disease and were discharged from hospitals on Friday.
The figure was below 400 for almost a week with 304 recoveries reported on Wednesday.
Sundargarh continued to lead the list of daily recoveries with 52, followed by 42 from Khurda, 35 from Kendrapada, 27 from Cuttack, 26 from Sambalpur, 24 each from Balangir and Jajpur, 22 from Mayurbhanj, 18 from Puri, 17 from Bargarh, 15 from Angul, 11 from Balasore, and 10 from Keonjhar, according to Health and Family Welfare department.
