Xiaomi on Wednesday launched the new Note series phones—Redmi Note 8 and Redmi Note 8 Pro. The new Note series come with quad cameras, with the Pro having a 64-Megapixel primary sensor. Here are the prices:

Redmi Note 8 Pro 6GB RAM/128GB storage – Rs 15,999
Redmi Note 8 Pro 8GB RAM/128GB storage – Rs 17,999
Redmi Note 8 4GB RAM/64GB storage – Rs 9,999
Redmi Note 8 6GB RAM/128GB storage – Rs 12,999
Both phones will go on sale from October 21 via Amazon.
The Redmi Note 8 features a 6.3-inch dot notch display, Snapdragon 665, 48-MP primary + 8-MP 120-degree ultra-wide lens + 2-MP macro + 2-MP depth sensor rear camera, front 13-MP selfie camera with AI support, and 4,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging tech.
The body is splash-proof and the speakers are 40 per cent louder, claims the company.
The Redmi Note 8 Pro features a 6.53-inch 3D curved glass display, a diamond cut grade texture at the back, Mediatek G90t gaming chipset, 64-megapixel primary camera with 3 similar sensors as the Note 8 at the rear, a 20-MP selfie camera, and a massive 4,500mAh battery.
