Xiaomi is on full steam, teasing the competition with its new upcoming flagship, the K20. It has now released a performance comparison score of Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 730 SoC, which will power the phone.
The Antutu scores show that the new Snapdragon 730 processor is 40 per cent faster than its predecessor, the 710, which was launched just a year back.
The Redmi K20 and K20 Pro will feature a 6.3-inch FHD+ AMOLED display, a triple rear camera setup with the 48-MP Sony IMX582 primary sensor, up to 8GB RAM and 256GB storage and 4,000mAh battery. The K20 will be powered by Snapdragon 730, while the K20 Pro will be powered by the faster Snapdragon 855.
Xiaomi’s country head Manu Kumar Jain recently confirmed that the phone will be launching in July, though no date has been announced yet. In China, the price of the K20 series starts at around Rs 20,000 and goes up to Rs 31,000 for the 8GB + 256GB variant.
