New Delhi: Xiaomi on Wednesday launched its first Redmi branded smart band in India. It has been priced at Rs 1,599 and will be made available from September 9.
It will be sold at mi.com, Mi Home stores, Amazon India, and other retail outlets. The strap colours available are Black, Blue, Green, and Orange.
It will compete with Realme smart band priced at Rs 1,499 and its own Mi 3i band that costs Rs 1,299.
The Redmi Smart Band features a 1.08-inch TFT display with a touch button, five sports modes (outdoor running, exercise, cycling, treadmill, fast walking), and an optical heart rate sensor to monitor with 24/7 heart rate monitoring with heart rate alerts and sleep tracking. The band is water-resistant up to 5ATM (50 meters).
It can be recharged directly via USB without any cable, and lasts 14 days on a single charge.
It doesn’t have NFC support for contactless payments which is available with Mi Band 4 priced at Rs 2,299.
