Bhubaneswar: Poor visibility at Biju Patnaik International Airport threw flight schedule out of gear on Monday morning. Foggy conditions disrupted the schedule of (arrival and departure) about a dozen flights. Most of the flights had difficulty landing in the city and were diverted to Kolkata.
According to a source at the airport, the disruptions were mostly reported between 8 am and 10 am.

The 8.50 am Air Asia flight from Kolkata returned to the city
The 9.10 am Air India flight from Delhi was diverted to Kolkata
The 9.40 am Go Air flight from Kolkata returned to the city
The 9.05 am Vistara flight from Delhi arrived 1.30 hours behind schedule

The 8.30 am Indigo flight to Mumbai departed 1.20 hours behind schedule
The 8.55 am Air Asia flight to Hyderabad departed 4 hours behind schedule
The 9.10 am Indigo flight to Delhi took off 5 hours behind schedule
