Bhubaneswar: Registration for admission to different Odisha Adarsha Vidhalayas (OAVs) has commenced on November 1. The process for admission to 314 OAVs and five Odisha Mining Adarsha Vidyalayas is in progress.
Aspiring students can get themselves registered for the entrance examination for admission through www.oav.edu.in website, official sources said on Monday.
As per a notification issued by the School and Mass Education department, the last date for registration for admission to these schools is November 20. The entrance test for admission is slated to be held by January 15, 2024, it said.
The information brochures for admission have already been sent to the district and block authorities. Fifty per cent of the seats in these schools have been reserved for girl and scheduled caste and scheduled tribe students of the blocks in accordance with the population of respective blocks.
