Relatives of President-elect Droupadi Murmu are all set to fly to Delhi Ahead of the swearing-in ceremony. Her brother and sister-in-law are carrying gifts for her. Her sister-in-law has bought a tribal saree and traditional sweet pancake Arisa Pitha for Murmu.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, President Ram Nath Kovind and Parliamentarians will remain present in the oath-taking to be administered by Chief Justice of India NV Ramana.
BJB leaders Ashwini Vaishnaw, Suresh Pujari, Basant Panda, KV Singhdeo, who met Murmu in New Delhi, are also expected to be present.
