Cuttack: All religious institutions in Cuttack city will reopen from Thursday, said Commissioner of Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC) Ananya Das on Wednesday.
Briefing the media, she said as decided at a meeting with the Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC) authorities, the religious institutions in the city will remain open from 6 am to 8 pm.
Considering the prevailing COVID-19 pandemic, the use of masks and social distancing for devotees will be mandatory. Besides, to avoid large congregation, a maximum of 50 devotees will be allowed to enter the temple at a time, the CMC Commissioner added.
She further said the religious institutions will remain closed during weekend shutdown on Saturdays and Sundays.
