Remuna Tehsildar Under Odisha Vigilance Lens; Raids On At 7 Places

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Vigilance sleuths on Tuesday launched simultaneous searches at seven locations linked to Bidyadhar Pati, Tehsildar of Remuna in Balasore district, for allegedly possessing assets disproportionate to his known sources of income.

Official sources said the raids are being carried out by the anti-corruption agency led by six DSsP, three Inspectors, ten ASIs, and other supporting staff on the strength of search warrants issued by the Special Judge, Vigilance, Bhubaneswar.

Searches are underway at his following seven places in Bhubaneswar and Balasore:

(1) Flat No. C604 at Tamarin Terraces, Sailashree Vihar, Bhubaneswar.

(2) Flat No. B40406 (3BHK Executive) at Asotech Pride, Rudrapur, Bhubaneswar.

(3) Double storeyed building located at Kuruda, PS-Sadar, Dist-Balasore.

(4) Paternal house of Pati at Ainri, PS-Soro, Dist-Balasore.

(5) Office chamber of Pati, Tahasildar, Remuna, Dist-Balasore.

(6) Place of stay of Bidyadhar Pati at Balasore.

(7) House of relative of Bidyadhar Pati located at Plot No.625 Mars Villa, HN-7, Panchasakha Nagar, Dumduma, Bhubaneswar.
