Renault on Wednesday launched an affordable compact seven-seater vehicle. It is based on the Kwid’s platform. Here are the ex-showroom India prices of the all-new Renault Triber:

The Triber uses an upgraded version of the Kwid’s 1.0-litre engine. The 3-cyclinder petrol motor now produces 72hp and 96Nm of torque. It comes with a 5-speed manual gearbox. The Triber’s ARAI-rated mileage is 20kpl. Renault is expected to introduce an AMT gearbox option in the future.
The car comes with an 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, AC vents in all three rows, a cooled centre box, projector headlamps with LED DRLs, ABS, reverse parking sensors and four airbags on the top trim.
The Triber measures 3,990mm in length, 1,739mm in width, 1,643mm in height and 2,636mm in wheelbase. The boot space is 84 litres with the seats up, and 625 litres with the seats folded.
It will compete with the Datsun Go+ from the same group.
