New Delhi: Gyms and cinema halls have been shut for close to six months now. People are surely missing them. But do they want them to reopen?
Not really.
A survey has revealed that 72 per cent of people across the country are not in favour of visiting multiplexes and gyms, while 63 per cent are against the resumption of local train services as they feel these are risky in the current COVID-19 crisis, reported Financial Express (FE).
The survey was conducted by a social media-based platform LocalCircles. It showed that 72 percent of the 34,000 people across 255 districts in the country do not favour visiting multiplexes in the next 60 days, while only six per cent felt otherwise, the report added.
As for international air travel, 62 per cent of the respondents are against its restart, while 31 per cent are in favour, said the FE report.
