Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik will be addressing students and teachers at 7.30 pm on Monday.
The CM is likely to speak to students on how to move ahead after the pandemic severely affected classroom teaching since March 2020.
Notably, physical classes have been resumed for students of Class VIII and above, after a gap of almost one month. Colleges, ITIs, polytechnics, professional institutions and universities were also reopened on Monday following a steady decline in COVID cases in the state. Hostels in colleges and universities were reopened the day before, on Sunday.
Students of Class I to VI will also attend school from February 14, after almost a gap of two years.
They, however, have been allowed to opt for offline or online teaching. The schools and colleges have been also directed to conduct bridge and short-term courses to make up for the loss of study of students during the past two years.
