Bhubaneswar: A seven-day national workshop on research methodology
got underway here on Monday.
Inaugurating the workshop, BIMTECH director Dr P Nayak emphasised
the importance of research in academics and its changing roles in career development and institutional branding. He elaborated the importance of such workshop and its relevance in a more competitive research environment.
Dr. Sujit Kumar Patra, convener of the workshop, welcomed the participants and highlighted the sole objective of conducting this programme in Birla Global University (BGU) campus.
Dr B K Das, advisor of Birla Global University, was present during the inaugural session of the workshop that aims to provide better opportunity to participants to learn about research methods and its appropriation in research world. The workshop has participants across India in diverse disciplines, making it more convenient platform for knowledge sharing and assimilation. Research scholars and seasoned researchers of eleven reputed institutions attended this programme.
