Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government on Thursday effected a minor reshuffle in the senior IAS cadre.
According to a notification by the General Administration a
nd Public Grievance, 1996 batch officer and Principal Secretary, Sports and Youth Services Vishal Dev has been posted as Principal Secretary, Finance.
Dev will take over from 1993-batch officer Ashok Meena, who has been posted as Principal Secretary, Panchayati Raj and Drinking Water.
Besides, 1993-batch officer and Principal Secretary of Panchayati Raj & Drinking Water Department Deoranjan Kumar Singh will take charge as Principal Secretary, Steel and Mines.
Singh will replace 1993-batch officer Surendra Kumar, who has been posted as Principal Secretary, General Administration and Public Grievance with the additional charge of Tourism.
This apart, R Vineel Krishna, the 2005-batch officer and Special Secretary to Chief Minister, is given additional charge of Sports and Youth Services.
