Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government has appointed retired district judge Gopal Chandra Patnaik as member of the RERA.
In an official notification on Tuesday, the Housing and Urban Development department said, “In exercise of the powers conferred under Section 22 of the Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Rules, 2017, the state government is pleased to appoint Gopal Chandra Patnaik, retired district judge as member of the Odisha Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA).”
The order comes into effect from the date Patnaik assumes the office, the notification, signed by Debasis Singh, additional secretary, stated.
