Retired IPS Officer SK Upadhyay Appointed As Chairman Of Odisha Police Recruitment Board

Bhubaneswar: The state government has appointed retired IPS officer Santosh Kumar Upadhyay as chairman of the Odisha Police Recruitment Board.

An official order, released by the Home department on Tuesday, stated that Upadhyay has been appointed on the following terms and conditions:

  • The engagement is for a period of two years from the date of his joining or until further orders whichever is earlier
  • The emoluments is to be calculated on the basis of pay minus pension (before commutation of pension)
  • Vehicle and other logistical support is to be provided by the SPHQ

The additional charge of Rajesh Kumar, Director, SFSL as Chairman of OPRB will cease from the day Upadhyay assumes charge, the order stated.
