Revenue Inspector Found Hanging At Tehsil Office In Odisha’s Cuttack

Cuttack: A Revenue Inspector (RI) was found hanging at Nischintakoili Tehsil Office in Odisha’s Cuttack district on Tuesday.

The deceased, identified as Sanjay Das, was posted at Tarat section of Nischintakoili block.

According to sources, employees of the office spotted the body hanging from a ceiling fan on the upper floor of the building and informed police, which then sent it for postmortem and began an investigation on circumstances leading to his death.

Meanwhile, his daughter alleged that he took the extreme step due workplace harassment and transfer.
