Sambalpur: Odisha Vigilance on Monday apprehended Revenue Inspector Manoj Mahananda on the charges of demanding and accepting bribe.
Mahananda of of Jamankira block in Sambalpur district had allegedly demanded Rs 9,000 from a complainant for preparing field verification report regarding partition of ancestral property.
The entire bribe money has been recovered from Mahananda. A case has been registered at Sambalpur Vigilance police station. Details are awaited.
