Bhubaneswar: Odisha Vigilance sleuths on Thursday apprehended Revenue Supervisor of Special Land Acquisition Office in Paradip, Ganesh Mallick, and a retired Amin, Khirod Rath, while allegedly accepting Rs 4,000 bribe.
According to an official release, they had demanded the illegal gratification from a person to process a file for facilitating land acquisition payment. The entire bribe money was recovered from them and seized.
A case has been registered and searches are on at a location from disproportionate assets angle, it added.
