Paradip: A supervisor engaged at Paradip Port Prohibited area in Odisha’s Jagatsinghpur died after he allegedly being run over by a dumper truck, which was reversing, late on Friday.
The deceased has been identified as Bhramarbar Swain of Panpalli village under Kujang block.
According to reports, the incident took place while the supervisor was sitting on a chair. He was rushed to a nearby hospital but was declared dead.
Paradip Marine police seized the truck. The driver, however, managed to flee from the scene.
