Mumbai: Rhea Chakraborty’s latest post on social media celebrates the power of love.
The actress, who is coming off a miserable 2020 when she was jailed for a month in connection with the investigation into the death of actor boyfriend Sushant Singh Rajput, shared a picture with her friend Nidhi Parmar Hiranandani where they are making a ‘heart’ with their hands.
“Love is power,” Rhea captioned the photo.
She also wrote, quoting Robert (not Rober) Fulghum: “Love is a fabric which never fades, no matter how often it is washed in the water of adversity and grief.”
The same picture had been posted by Nidhi in December, when she captioned it: “Always fierce, always together.”
Rhea will be making her Bollywood comeback with ‘Chehre’, which features Amitabh Bachchan and Emraan Hashmi in lead roles. The film’s makers, though, refrained from promoting Rhea.
The film releases on April 9.
Chehre producer Anand Pandit said that while the public scrutiny never affected his decision to retain the actor in the film, he knew the media attention could take a toll on Rhea if she participated in public engagements for the film.
“A lot of issues have happened in Rhea’s life over the last one year. I never wanted to give another turmoil to her… till the time she is not comfortable (promoting the film). For my project or benefit, I don’t want to create ripples in somebody’s life,” ‘Chehre’ producer Anand Pandit said.
