Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Vigilance sleuths on Tuesday apprehended Revenue Inspector (RI) Bijay Kumar Bagh and peon Rohit Kumar Padhy of Lamtaput Circle under Machhkund Tehsil in Koraput district while allegedly accepting Rs 10,000 bribe.
According to a release, they had demanded the illegal gratification from a complainant for demarcation of his land. The entire bribe money was recovered from Padhy and seized.
Following the trap, simultaneous searches are on at three locations linked to Bagh and Padhy from disproportionate asset angle.
