Patna: Bihar is among a handful of states which has been rocked by communal violence during Ram Navami celebrations.

On Sunday, Union Home Minister Amit Shah sounded a stern warning for miscreants who were active in places like Sasaram and Bihar Sharif.

“Rioters have been running amok in Sasaram and Bihar Sharif. They will be hung upside down if BJP forms the government in Bihar in 2025,” Shah said while addressing a rally in Nawada.

The Union Minister also assured supporters that the BJP will uproot the ‘Mahagathbandhan’ government in the Bihar Assembly elections due in two years’ time.

“People of Bihar have decided that Modiji’s lotus will bloom in all 40 (Lok Sabha) seats,” Shah added, referring to next year’s general elections.

Watch Shah’s warning in the video clip posted by ANI on Twitter:

Shah took a jibe at Bihar CM Nitish Kumar.

“The government, which has jungle raj’s Lalu Prasad Yadav’s party, can it ever bring peace in Bihar? Nitish Kumar sat in the lap of Lalu Prasad because of hunger for power and we will uproot the ‘Mahagathbandhan’ government. Lalu Prasad and Nitish always practised the policy of appeasement, which helped terrorism flourish. On the other hand, PM Modi scrapped Article 370 and dealt with terrorists sternly,” Shah claimed.

“Nitish Kumar won’t become Prime Minister. People of the country have decided that Narendra Modi will become the Prime Minister of the country for the third time,” he added.

Shah, who is on a two-day visit of Bihar, had to cancel his trip to Nalanda’s Bihar Sharif and Sasaram from where clashes were reported on March 31.
