New Delhi: Former Director of the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), Ranjit Sinha passed away possibly due to COVID-19 complications on Friday morning in Delhi. He was 68.
Sinha had tested positive for COVID-19 on Thursday night, PTI reported.
Sinha, a 1974-batch officer of the Bihar cadre, had also served as the Director General of the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), headed the Railway Protection Force (RPF) and held senior positions in the CBI before his appointment as the agency chief in 2012.
