Bhubaneswar: Three members of a family from Odisha died and two others sustained critical injuries after a car in which they were travelling collided head on with a truck at Nuamundi-Jagannathpur Road in Jharkhand on Friday night.
The family belongs to Barbil area of Keonjhar district. The incident took place when Rabindranath Mohapatra, his wife Manu, daughter Soni Panda, son-in-law Rahul Panda and granddaughter Phalguni were returning to Barbil from Sadheikala.
While Mohapatra, Manu and Phalguni died on the spot, his daughter and son-in-law were admitted to Nuamundi Hospital in a critical condition.
