Road Rage: BJP Leader Brutally Beaten To Death In Odisha’s Baripada

Baripada: Police have arrested three persons for allegedly beating a BJP leader to death at Kaptipada Nuasahi here.

He has been identified as Balasore BJP district youth morcha in-charge Ranjit Pradhan. Although four persons were involved in the brutal killing, one among them is still on the run.

According to sources, the incident occurred near Pradhan’s father-in-law’s house after a heated exchange between the miscreants and the BJP leader when he was driving. They then dragged Ranjit out of his car and beat him up mercilessly. He was later admitted to Udala hospital, where doctors declared him dead.

Police said a written complaint was lodged and investigation is on to nab the fourth accused involved in the incident. The identity of the miscreants is yet to be disclosed.
