Malkangiri: In view of the rising COVID-19 cases in Chhattisgarh, the Malkangiri administration has sealed all the roads connecting the district with the neighbouring state.
Bus services to Chhattisgarh have also been suspended till April 30.
Notably, there was an exodus of people to Malkangiri after the local administration declared a lockdown in Bastar area.
While security along the borders has been tightened, it is now mandatory for those entering Malkangiri from Chhattisgarh to stay in home quarantine for seven days.
People are allowed into the district after a medical test on Sukuma-Malkangiri border, said the sources.
