Bhubaneswar: Jewellery worth Rs 2 lakh was looted from a wedding venue in Kesura area of the capital city.
The incident, that occurred on January 23 night, came to the notice of the family members while they were watching the footage of the marriage after finding the jewellery missing.
Two miscreants, including a minor, arrived at the wedding venue and left the place with the bag containing the jewellery.
A police complaint has been lodged in this regard.
As per the footage, two unidentified miscreants entered the marriage venue at Kesura Chhak on the outskirts of the city, had their dinner and later left the venue with gold jewellery and other valuables worth over Rs 2 lakh from the bride’s side.
