Berhampur: A 70-year-old woman was killed by robbers at Bhismagiri College square area in Berhampur of Odisha’s Ganjam district on Saturday night.
The deceased has been identified as Badriadi Patra.
According to sources, the robbers broke into an elderly couple’s house and looted all cash and jewellery.
Thereafter, the miscreants killed the old woman and escaped from the spot. On being informed, Digapahandi police arrived at the spot and recovered the body. An investigation has been initiated into the loot and murder case.
