New York: Actor Robert Pattinson, who was once a horror buff, is now too scared to watch horror movies because of a strange experience.
Confessing about his fear, the actor, who is set to produce a remake of horror movie ‘Possession,’ shared with director Bong Joon Ho, “I used to watch a lot of dark stuff when I was younger and think ‘yeah, this is cool’, adding, “And now, I’m too sensitive. It’s strange, you’d think it would go the other way round. As you get older, you become less frightened of these [films]. I can’t watch horror movies anymore.”
When the director speculated that the actor’s sensitivity to horror movies might be due to his recent fatherhood, Pattinson cleared the air by stating that his fear of horror movies “happened before that, though.”
Sharing the strange experience, the actor said, “I kept thinking that someone was breaking into my house… And so I was sitting on my sofa with two kitchen knives waiting for the person to come in. And then I fell asleep with them basically in my neck on the couch. It was probably a squirrel.”
Pattinson’s revelation amused netizens, some of whom felt the actor was lying.
One user wrote, “But he’s Batman…”
Another commented, “Well, that escalated quickly 😂🥲”
A user wrote, “He’s also said that he loves to lie by the way.”
“This guy lies more than Bruce Wayne,” wrote another.
“Bro scares us,” joked another.
